Top 5 Bathing SuitTrends for 2013 Feat. Wildfox Swimwear

While it's already well into swim suit season, it's never too late to venture out into the realm of new trends considering I, for one, am still rocking last years bathing suits. Swimwear trends are often trickier to tackle because the number one goal is always to pick a suit that flatters your body. However, once that is figured out, it becomes easier to pick and choose the latest trends that shows off your body while simultaneously showing off your style. From Wildfox Couture's swim line, I have selected their top 5 trends that they have favored this season. Enjoy and let the swimming begin!

Cropped Tankini Top

This top is perfect for girls who are looking for a more conservative alternative to a bikini top, which can become decently revealing. I also find that this is a great piece for smaller chested women because the shape adds more volume to your chest, and the conservative manner allows for the attention to be draw to other parts of your body.

Cheeky Brazilian Bottoms

Time to do some squats, ladies! This summer, more than in the past, is all about showing the booty. This piece would work nicely with the previous top, balancing the conservative top with these cheeky bottoms. In addition, the thick band on the top of the bottoms balances out the larger amount of skin shown on the lower portion.

American Pride

Even with the 4th of July gone, the American spirit continues! This piece is simple enough to show off some red, white, and blue without overwhelmingly shoving your countries flag in everyones face. In addition, the heart shape creates a cute and original twist from the original rectangular shape.

 High Waisted Bottoms

As tiny as bathing suits seem to be getting these days, these high-waisted retro bottoms will always be a great alternative to smaller pieces while still looking good. These bottoms highlight your waist and give your bottom a rounder shape. The ruffles on the side add a unique flair and also add more volume for those who want to enhance their hips.

Printed One-Piece

This floral and geometric one piece takes this classic shape to a whole new level, combining the sexier bustier top with the feminine pattern and shape. The one piece also is a sneaky way to hide any imperfections while still giving you the classic hourglass shape.
